– the 9 most common bees are pictured on the Great British Bee Count app so if you download that you can identify and survey at the same time.

– the Bumblebee Conservation Trust has lots useful information from Top Tips for Bee ID, to Common Bumblebees (and then Less Common, Scarce and Very Rare), even Honeybees versus Bumblebees.
